Bacteriostatic Water for Injection, USP is a sterile, non-pyrogenic diluent containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol (9 mg/mL) as a bacteriostatic preservative. Supplied in a multiple-dose vial, it is intended for the reconstitution and dilution of compatible injectable compounds, allowing for repeated withdrawals while maintaining sterility. For convenience, Bacteriostatic Water may be stored at room temperature when handled and stored according to product guidelines.
